Westbrook Or Tomlinson ...

Both are free agents ... you're team needs a back. Pick one ... discuss ...

Just feel he still has more to bring to the table.

 

The downside on Tomlinson is that he's taken much more of a beating over time than Westbrook has. But then there's the concussions with B. West...

I think I'd take Westbrook...I feel like he has more left in the tank than LT. LT showed me nothing last year and he played the full season...the few games Westbrook played, he did okay from what I recall.

Maybe I'm not remembering correctly...lol...

 

Don't want to take the concussion baggage.

 

Realistically neither.

But for the sake of the poll, I'll take Tomlinson.

While both are in their thirties and have plenty of wear on their tires, Westbrook is about another violent hit in the head away from becoming a vegetable. Thats probably the lone thing thats keeping me from calling my decision a push between these two.

 

Realistically I wouldn't touch either one...I'd take Fast Willie over them both!

Westbrook has stated that the doctors have said he's not at a high risk of having further concussions...take it for what it's worth.

I'd sign West and make it incentive laden. LT was on a Super Bowl contender and couldn't produce...that's how I'm looking at it.

LT, I don't hecks with concussions.

 

I went with Westbrook, because I think physically he has more left in his legs. If he is much less likely to absorb another concussion now as the one specialist stated, he still could have another excellent year or two in him.

 

I'd roll the dice on LT.

This is the first Eagle fan vote(?) about LT to Philly.

Is this just opinion or do you think he might possibly end up there after releasing Westy?

 

westbrooks main issue isnt his head. his knee can't pass a physical right now and may never.

so LT.

 

Lions need a back to help take the stress off Kevin smith when he comes back.... and I would go with LT do pick up some of the work. Westbrook just gets hurt too much.

 

LT - Westbrook at this point in his career looks to always be one good shot away from IR for the season.
