After tonites game, 2 weeks will have gone by, and teams/players will ahve had a chance to validate a little.

So, both good and bad, who so far is your surprise team, player, and whats the biggest story of the year so far.

    Mine

Surprise team- Buffalo. This team is looking solid all around, this has the makings of a possible 11 win team. I think this is a legit team, and not this years version of the Browns

Surprise player- Aaron Rogers. Rogers has looked like a season Pro Bowler and not a guy making his first two starts

Disappointing team- Minnesotta. It seems like every year they have high expectations, they fall flat

Disappointing player- Carson Palmer. Palmer looks like he has taken 4 huge steps back. I have alway's liked him, but I worried that he may become another Bledsoe. A supremely gifted QB, that got alot of his ability, but just could reach that next level

Biggest story- Tom Brady. The NFL's marquee team loses its marquee player

Surprise team - Arizona. Who knows if this team will keep it up and Kurt Warner goes inconsistent again. Fitz and Boldin look unstoppable as usual and they play in a weak division.

Surprise player - Eddie Royal. I expected him to play well but I thought he would be like any other undersized speedy receiver - good for the deep route and nothing else. He runs clean routes and has great hands. Can't forget about the guy getting him the ball either.

Disappointing team - Seattle. Everyone seemed to think the West was theirs hands down. The question was the running game. Now it's the whole offense. The D doesn't look like they did last year either.

Disappointing player - Steven Jackson. Need I say more?

Biggest surprise to me is the Bengals so far. They've looked terrible. The Titans and Bills are great stories so far and the Jags are close behind the Bengals but....it's waaaaaaaaay early and a lot could change. If the Eagles upset the Cowboys tonight they might be considered for top positive surprise too.

How could the Bengals surprise anyone, they cut 3 key players and didn't bring in any talent. I had them pegged for an 8-8 team this year which is pretty bad, but they look worse than tha.

I had them at 8-8 too Roy but they look worse than the Fins did last year so far. I'm thinking 6-10 would be great for them right now but it might only end up being 4-12. They've had their butts handed to them in two straight games and Carson Palmer looks terrible and down trodden so far. Ocho Cnco will only worry about his own stats and the Bengals will probably not improve.

Surprise Team - Buffalo is not a surprise to me...I thought they would be good. I'd have to go how bad Jacksonville is playing right now.

Surprise Player - Aaron Rodgers. I thought he would be servicable, but he's been awesome so far...2 games...

    Disappointment - Jacksonville

    Disappointing Player - LT.
