Kevin Ogletree, the unheralded Dallas Cowboys wide receiver who caught eight passes for 114 yards in the team's season opening win over the New York Giants, celebrated his first of two touchdowns Wednesday night by making a "C" and an "O" with his hands. What was the 25-year-old from Queens referencing?

The "C.O." was a tribute to Ogletree's brother, Calvin (initials "C.O."), who was shot in the head outside his luxury auto rental company in January.

Calvin spent months in a coma but is making steps toward recovery, Kevin said he kept a bedside vigil with his brother in the days after the shooting and was inspired by Calvin's determination.

"That really forced me to look in the mirror and dig deep and find out what I want to be," he said last month. "That specifically has changed my attitude and work ethic.

Calvin remains in a New York hospital, he was visited by his brother on Wednesday.

"I think about him all the time, an inspiration in my life," Kevin said after the game. "He's going to continue to be that."

Kid had a hell of a night. Looked like maybe he's finally got it as a #3 wideout. If he does, Romo's receiving corp could be one of the best in the league with Witten and Murray added in there.

He definitely made it hard for the Giants to stop. He had a huge night. Best of luck to he and his brother.

Good story, Ogleetree impressed me with his route running last night, especially on the double move he sold the comeback perfectly. Btw Webster was pretty horrendous last night, he's a pretty good player so it was sort of shocking.

He was good with the route running and good only finding the open spots when Romo was on the move...

That's the thing that was impressive. Whenever Romo needed someone on the move, he was there. It paid off big for the Cowboys.

Maybe Ogletree can be this year's Laurent Robinson.
