What's wrong with Ryan Grant? The Packers running back ran for 929 yards in the last 10 regular season games of 2007, but has only amassed 186 rushing yards on 55 attempts (3.4 avg.) this season, and has yet to score a rushing touchdown. "He doesn't look like the same player this year," said a long-time NFL defensive coach. "Defensive coordinators have spent time studying his tendencies over the offseason, and he hasn't responded to the way that defenses have adjusted to his game." Although Grant had a solid performance in the season opener against the Vikings (12 carries for 92 yards), he averaged a measly 31.3 yards per game in the past three games, and only mustered 2.2 yards per attempt during the same span. well with no Brett Farve it was kinda expected teams would force the pass more or maybe he woke up one morning and realized that he was Ryan Grant?
We've faced very little 8 man fronts. It really doesn't matter that Favre isn't there, Rodgers can pass it well enough. I think the 2nd option is likely :) And ST, you traded him :)
Only thing effected thus far is my fantasy which is 0-4 with 3 losses by less then 2 points..... Thank you ryan grant. PS: It's called the end zone find it.
Exactly. One play last week, if he would have cut back, there was a hole big enough to drive a truck through.
The Packers OL is playing like a pile of poo, combined with Grant's niggles, it's just not happening for them.
What's wrong with Ryan Grant? He got paid. That's what's wrong. He knows he had a fluke season, hence demanded the new contract since he knew it wasn't going to ever repeat.
Not excatly, since a big part of his salary depends of his performance. His hammy doesn't help him here either. What concerns me more is, why did our highly paid backup didn't step up.....
