After learning that Jamarcus Russell skiped the teams last OTA, it just confirms to me that he is lazy, and he thinks that the starting job is his, and his for good. I'm wondering if and when people think that Jeff Garcia will take over the QB1 position in Oakland? My personal opinion is that by week 4 J-Rock is out, and Jeff Garcia is in...and I think Garcia does well in Oakland.
I think AL davis will be to prideful to admit he botched the pick. So I think he gets the full year no matter how bad he does.
I say before week 13, they are going to give Russell plenty of chances to screw up before pulling him, I wouldn't surprised if he actually gets the team going in the right direction though. He is a Tiger afterall. :icon_cheesygrin: :tiger:
Never this is J Rock's team and he is going to show improvement this year over last year when he showed signs of great things to come
Before Week 13. Russell will get plenty of chances and will lose the job to ineptitude or injury. Garcia will finish the season. Maybe 6-8 games.
Dude Garcia, Namndi, alot of the starters missed the some Of the OTAs they were not mandatory. I agree with the fact that he should of been there working but in reality its not that big of a deal. It gets blown out proportion bcuz he was a number 1 pick. Its cool though he'll prove everybody wrong. It might take a couple of games but he'll get it.
