The members here have had Schiano of the Bucs on the hot seat all season, and Philbin of the Dolphins is now on the Hot Seat as well with the handling of the Martin - Incognito fiasco. Who Else should be on the hot seat and why has no head coach been fired yet? My list on the hot seat: Schiano - The Bucs have much better talent than their 1-8 record. Philbin - I don't think he can escape this with his job. Kubiak - Houston should be doing much better. Smith - Atlanta?? What the hell happened there? Frazier - This ship should have been righted by now, but it is getting worse. Who else? I would put Marrone of the Bills on there, but no one wants to play in Buffalo. Should Tomlin be on the list?
I don't think Mike Smith should be on that list. He's had a winning season every year since he's been in Atlanta until this year. I think it would take multiple bad years for the Falcons to can Smith. I would put Mike Shanahan on that list of coaches on the hot seat. Yes, the Redskins made the playoffs last year but where one and done. I think four years is more than enough time for a coach to help turn a team around. Yes, the Redskins where 3-6 through 9 games last year but you can't keep getting off to bad starts like that every year.
Kubiak has made a lot of mistakes with his coaching staff and qb position through the years. i would fire him. Smith i would not. this is his first bad season. and i wouldn't put any 1st year coaches on there. that's not fair to only give them 1 year. you left munchak and allen off of the list. the titans are going backwards under munchak and allen just can't get things going in oakland.
Do not know about philbin, but somebody on the coaching staff will end up being the scapegoat for all this hazing crap.may not happen until the season is over, but it will eventually happen. I don't think smith should be on the lisy cause everything fell to crap this season, but kubiak and Schiano are as good as gone. I Think it is 50-50 on frazier, and if the skins get worse, maybe shanahan is gone too?
