According to Jim Wexell of Steelers Digest and steelcityinsider.com, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Willie Parker and strong safety Troy Polamalu were both held out of Thursday's practice. Wexell writes via his Twitter page, "Parker, Johnson, Polamalu did not practice Thursday afternoon. Hartwig did. #steelers" Source: Jim Wexell on Twitter
I'm sure Polamalu won't practice this week, We need Willie to get it going, he torched the Chargers last season during the regular season and the divisional round playoff game.
Hopefully Mendy got his crap in order and impressed the coaches enough doing the little things this week. He looked to be starting to break out against the Bears and then got a seat on the bench for not being detail oriented last week. If Willie can't go, a steady combo of Mewelde Moore and Mendenhall will be suitable methinks.
