I wouldn't. He's returned 10 kicks in only 27 NFL game - well ahead of anyone's previous pace. It's harder to keep the ball away from him on kickoffs but for punts... Don't do it!
I wouldn't punt or kick off to him, just kick it out of bounds. Their offense isn't doing crap and he's their biggest threat to score. Keep it from him.
Sometimes the old squib kick is a good thing because someone else might return it...and we all know that a penalty or fumble on a kick return has a good possibility. I'd try my best to keep it from being a returnable kick by Hester though. He's amazing.
i wonder why teams dont look to see what the cowboys did in week 4 bc we held him to under 30-40 yds and no tds
I think punting is a lost art. I love it when the punters go to the sidelines, and the ball goes out of bounds inside the 5 yard line. That doesn't happen anymore. Now it's all about distance and hang time...
