Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have shown interest in S Yeremiah Bell after being released by the Miami Dolphins last week. Bell, 34, was released by the Dolphins, mainly because of his $4.3 million salary, but his declining production was most likely another reason for the move. Since then the Eagles have shown interest, but the Dolphins have yet to rule out the possibility of re-signing him. In the each of the past three seasons, Bell has recorded 100+ tackles which makes him an decent option for the Eagles. Last year, Philadelphia had problems in the secondary which was most likely caused by the poor play from their safeties.
