Ever since Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted that his team was pursuing wide receiver, one big name that has been speculated about is Larry Fitzgerald.

"Not happening" according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. Somers tweets that there is "zero chance" the Arizona Cardinals would trade Fitzgerald this offseason. In addition to the fact that Fitzgerald is an awesome player, the Cardinals would have to absorb a whopping $15 million salary cap hit if they traded him. And this is a team in salary cap hell already without a legitimate starting quarterback.

Only thing I can relate this ongoing story to is Barry Sanders. Both the face of the franchise and one of the two best at their position during their time. Would I like to see Fitz on a team that can exploit his talents? Of course. But the Cards are paying him a ton and he's always desired to stay here. IF Fitz were to be traded, Arians would have to wear a suit of armor around town.

They'd have to get a Ricky Williams trade++ for him to leave
