    It's a good bet that the Vikings will have a new stadium deal by the time their 2011 Metrodome lease expires, but it probably will have to be open-air rather than domed, and owner Zygi Wilf probably will have to cough up at least $400 million — that's at least $150 million more than he would like — of the anticipated $750 million cost. The Vikings are at odds with the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission ever since it threatened to charge the Vikings rent for the next two years if they didn’t extend the lease to play there. On top of that, the voters are in no mood to approve spending tax dollars for a stadium, particularly during these difficult economic times.
