IDP Waiver Wire Week 11

November 11, 2014 by Jad Alameddine

I'm struggling to write this piece this week, after losing by 0.1 in my big league. But I will soldier on.

At LB

Chris Borland (SF): I dumped Daryl Smith for Chris Borland about 5 minutes before kickoff on Sunday. and boy was I a happy man. He had 17 tackles (11 solo) and a fumble recovery that allowed SF to win the game! If you follow me you know I suggested him last week and noted that if Willis doesn't start he is a must add. However, going into week 11 he might have stolen the job away from Michael Wilhoite even if Willis does start. That make Borland a MUST pick up a top 10 LB. But make sure those become facts.

Clay Mathews (GB): Interestingly Clay Mathews played as an inside linebacker this week and he was awesome! Awesome is probably an understatement he was amazing. This will change the Green Bay Packer defense and he might change your season if you have 2 LB's. Pick him up ASAP. If you are in a league with big plays he becomes a LB1

Ramon Humber (NO): He started in place of Hawthorne for the Saints, he had 12 tackles (7 solo) and 1 sack vs. SF. Keep an eye out on Hawthorne and if he is out again that makes Humber a decent LB2/3 to pick up vs the Bengals

Mychal Kendricks (PHI): He was on my list last week, but I have to add him again as he is only owned in 15% of ESPN leagues. He is a LB1/2 this week and it will be reflected in my rankings

Connor Barwin (PHI): Another Eagles guy on this list, but his performance vs the Panther was simply amazing. He had 8 tackles and 3.5 sacks! he has 10.5 sacks on the season and a solid add for leagues with big plays
AT DL
Make sure you pick up Eversen Griffin and Ezekiel Ansah if they are on your waiver wire!!!
Jordan Cameron(NOS): he was on this list last week and here he is again with 3 tackles, 1 sack and a fumble recovery! I do like his matchup this week vs the Bengals.
Kroy Biermann (ATL): Probably the lone bright-spot for the Atlanta Defense. He will get to Cam Newton this week. He is still a borderline DL2/3 so pick him up only if you must
AT DB
Ron Parker (KC): I added him many weeks ago in my IDP league, now we start 3 CB and 3 S in my league so I had close to no other options at the time, but in the past 3 weeks he has 19 tackles and 3 big plays (1 sack, 1 interception and 1 forced fumble) DB2/3
His teammate Eric Berry (KC): He played all defensive snaps and should return to being a DB1 this coming week.
T.J. McDonald (StL): I wrote about T.J McDonald in the preseason and I think that he will be starting alongside Mark Barron (who you must also pick up) He had a solid game vs. Arizona this week with 9 tackles all solo and a sack.
Goo luck in week 12 guys, remember sign up to get 1-on-1 advice.
