IDP Waiver Wire Week 4

September 23, 2014 by Jad Alameddine

Well guys what a bunch of interesting games this past week. The waiver wire is still filled with guys that are unowned in IDP leagues. Here is the IDP Waiver Wire Week 4

At LB

Jelani Jenkins (Miami): I ignored my own advice last week! I had Jelani Jenkins on this list last week and instead I went and picked up Emmanuel Lamur (Cincy) who was on my list 2 weeks ago. Please don't do that, pick up Jelani Jenkins he is a LB1/2 and must be started almost in all IDP formats

Brian Cushing (Houston): If you follow my columns you know I had Brian Cushing as a sleeper this year, he didn't start off well (he wasn't playing all the snaps) well in week 3 he played the majority of them and logged in 17 tackles (a team high) he is a LB1 in most leagues if he plays the snaps. I am picking him up this week

DeAndre Levy (Detroit): His teammate Stephen Tulloch celebrated a sack and injured himself for the season. DeAndre Levy was already a very decent LB2 option, he will now see his tackles soar up and has become a LB1
At DL:
Corey Liuget with his sack in week 3
Willie Young (Bears) Another sack in week 3 and only owned in 28% of IDP leagues on ESPN. He is still playing from a backup role but 4 sacks through 3 weeks is all you need to know, he will get to Aaron Rodgers in week 4
Corey Liuget (Chargers) I like what I see so far in 2014, he is a DL2 at best, but this week 4 he moves up to DL1 as he is facing the Jaguars who just can't protect their QB. Look for a few sacks from him
At DB. - And to the owners who lost Tyvon Branch one of my favorite IDP players
YOU WILL BE MISSED
Kyle Fuller (Bears) I know I recommended this guy last week, but he is still only owned in 42% of ESPN IDP leagues. This is my pick up in all 3 of my leagues. Kyle Fuller is off to a great rookie season, he has the tackles, he has the big plays and all he truly is the full package.  A DB1 in all formats
Prince Amukamara (Giants) This is a waiver add if you want consistency and tackles over big plays. He has shown over 3 weeks that he will get you between 5-8 tackles a week (Which is what you want from a DB) but if you are in a big play league look else where. a DB2/3
Aaron Williams (Bills)  Had a terrible week 1 vs the Patriots, came back very strong last week and maintained this week. He is a DB2 in all league formats. He faces Houston this week so you might even expect a few big plays.
