IDP Waiver Wire Week 5

September 30, 2014 by Jad Alameddine

Week 4 is behind us, a lot of big name players coming back in week 5. But here are a few names you should also be looking at.

Here is the IDP Waiver Wire Week 5

AT LB

Brian Cushing (Houston): I picked him up this past week vs. Buffalo and he had a solid day with 9 tackles. I put him again on this list as he is owned in far too few leagues.

Keenan Robinson (Washington): Look he won't get you an Interception every week and he isn't London Fletcher either, but he is playing in London's old role and has a very nice Monday Night game vs. Seattle. a very solid LB2 this week
Danny Trevathan (Denver): He is expected back in the lineup this week and he is in a position that just racks up tackles. Do watch the practise reports this week to see if he will be back.
AT DE

Michael Johnson (Tampa Bay) Had a huge week 4 and don't be swayed by his poor performance in week 1-3, he simply wasn't healthy. Expect more sacks from him in Lovi Smith's Defense.

Michael Bennett (Seahawks) I Am adding him to this list, he is facing the Redskins in week 5 and will get to Cousins a few times add him with confidence this week

AT DB

The Arizona Cardinals Cornerbacks and Safeties

No I am not crazy, Tyrann Mathieu is back, he played a limited snap count in week 3, and was a DB1 last year. The Cardinals are playing the Broncos which is a great matchup for the DB's. Also for those who own Patrick Peterson I expect this week to be his coming out party.  Tony  Jefferson is going to have a big day too.

Brandon Flowers (Chargers) Don't pick up this guy unless your in a league that starts 2 DB but keep a very close eye on him, he had a big week 4 and is in a position to flourish and intercept more passes

Prince Amukamara (Giants) I added this guy last week because I wanted consistency at my DB1 position right now he ranks 5 amongst all DB and I can't ask for more. Pick him up he will be a DB1
