IDP Waiver Wire Week 7

October 14, 2014 by Jad Alameddine

Week 6 was my worst fantasy week in 2 years. I hope it was better for you then me. IDP Waiver Wire Week 7 is here

Jerod Mayo is out. and you Mayo owners might want to look at some of the names on your WW, check for guys like Brian Cushing, Koa Misi, Brandon Marshall, Vontaze Burfict (who is available in many leagues due to a concussion earlier in the year) etc. remember you can go to the forums and ask for help.

AT LB

Nigel Bradham (BUF): I have rambled on all year about Nigel Bradham, he was Kiko Alonzo's replacement and still he is owned in FAR TOO FEW leagues (only 6% on ESPN) he was injured in week 5, thus the 0. But he is a legit LB1/2 in most leagues

Brandon Marshall (DEN): Danny Trevathan got injured and Brandon Marshall went back to his week 1-3 form. He is a must pick up in LB1/2 and will see some decent action if Danny is out for an extended period of time. Has 49ers this week and Chargers next week.

Koa Misi (MIA): Was inactive for 4 weeks, is back from injury and had a good game vs. the Packers. A decent pick up for the rest of the year.

AT DL

Ezekiel Ansah (DET): AT the start of the season I wrote about some sleepers, Ansah had a huge week 6 and one of the most productive Defensive linemen. He had 2.5 sacks, 5 tackles and Forced Fumble! Pick him as a DL2

Jerry Hughes (BUF): Last week I wanted to add Jerry Hughes to my list but I didn't, I regret that now. I do worry about the amount of snaps he plays, I guess he is making a very strong case to play even more snaps. He has 3 sacks and 12 tackles in the past two weeks. A solid addition if you start 2 DL's

AT DB

Reshad Jones (MIA): HE'S BACK from suspension and is a MUST START in ALL DB starting leagues. he is my pickup of the week. He had 10 tackles vs. Green Bay. He has a friendly matchup vs. the Bears in week 7.

Cortez Allen (PIT): Another player who I should have included on my list last week. Cortez Allen now has 2 Interceptions and 1 Fumble Recovery in the past 2 weeks, he also adds 5-8 tackles on a weekly basis. A DB2 in most leagues.

Tyrann Mathieu (ARZ): Maybe you expected another Arizona Cardinal on my list this week, sorry I am going with the stud from last year. He had a solid game in week 6 and is ready to roll at 100%. Right now he is still a DB2 but keep an eye out as he was a stud last year, and I expect him to find the DB1 status in the next few weeks
