I was so confident I'd clean house in week 13 I played my largest sum of cash to date. Guess what... I lost $590 smackers! After winning $217 in week 10, $147 in week 11, and $510 in week 12 I was quickly reminded how volatile daily fantasy sports can be. What was my demise? Beside's the people that kicked my ass with Ryan Fitzpatrick my downfall was rather eventful, as I had 3 to 4 of the top scoring players this week in a ton of my lineups, which put me dangerously close to winning over $1,000. Unfortunately, Jimmy Graham and Ryan Tannehill comprised a large percentage of my lineups as well and both of those guy SEVERELY UNDER-PERFORMED. How severely, glad you asked as I enjoy salt on open wounds. Graham netted us 0 points and Tannehill netted 9.7 - and yes I stacked Tannehill with Landry, double whammy.
Playing GPP tournaments is very risky business as more than 80 percent of the field loses. Take notice that I played all large GGP tournaments.. ya Im chasing paper, sue me. Que Sera, Sera.
If you're new to DFS remember this, there's down weeks and up weeks. In my case I've won weeks 10, 11, 12 (linked above) and lost week 13. With a little luck and our optimal lineup tool I'll dominate in week 14.
