So much for that tender ankle. Corey Perry, Scott Niedermayer and Bobby Ryan each had one goal and one assist. Saku Koivu and George Parros had the other Anaheim goals. Teemu Selanne chipped in with two assists. Source USAToday

Tomas Holmstrom may miss the Olympics because a knee injury suffered Saturday.

Troy Brouwer scored as the sixth shooter for the Blackhawks to secure the victory. Patrick Kane also scored in the shootout. Jake Dowell had one goal and one assist while Patrick Kane and Bryan Bickell had the other Chicago goals. Jonathan Toews chipped in with two assists. Source USAToday

Johan Franzen replaced the injured Tomas Holmstrom on Sweden's Olympic team.

Holmstrom hurt his knee Saturday, which necessitated the move. Franzen would have likely been there on the initial roster had he not suffered a serious knee injury earlier this season. So the Swedes actually get better with this switch. Source USAToday
