The last segment I would like to cover are the incoming Tight Ends and the potentials on where to draft them.
My prospects include...
- Eric Ebron
- Austin Seferian- Jenkins
- Jace Amaro
- Xavier Grimble
- Troy Niklas.
Eric Ebron- out of North Carolina, a tall solid well built player could easily find a name for himself in the big leagues. His potential is sky high and I could see him as my starting TE on my team.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins- Out of Washington, Taking a chance on a Rookie is always difficult for your team because they are basically unknowns to the pros. If you are the type of person to take chances on drafting rookies. Austin is a solid pick up. Although, I may pick him up as my number 2 starter if available in the mid to late rounds.
Jace Amaro- Predicted to go in the first few rounds of the NFL draft, he is a good route-runner. When given the open space he can run right past the secondary and could create matchup problems. I think he is a solid number 2 TE pickup for my fantasy team.
Xavier Grimble- At nearly 260 pounds, and gifted hands, he could be a low risk high reward guy. Looking for Tight Ends in the later rounds of my draft, I would gamble on Xavier if the selections are scarce when your selection comes up. He could end up being a nightmare of a problem if given room.
Troy Niklas- At 6-6 and 270, This guy is a beast and is a good blocker. He is not super fast and might not get you a lot of yards, but could provide some solid blocks for his running back or quarter back to make plays. If he falls in the last few rounds and you are looking to fill up your roster, don't be hesitant to take a chance on Troy Niklas.
