The Buffalo Sabres have added forward Raffi Torres to play in front of Ryan Miller down the stretch. Torres, 28, has 19 goals and 12 assists in 60 games this season with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Torres could play the left wing on either of Buffalo's top two lines moving forward, and should see more scoring chances. His fantasy value has increased.
Buffalo's centers Tim Connelly and Derek Roy could both see an increase in assists with this deal as well. Watch how, and where, the Sabres work Torres into their lineup over the coming games to see how his fantasy value has increased. Torres' addition led to the Sabres moving Clarke MacArthur to Atlanta.
For Columbus, this could increase scoring chances for some of their secondary scorers as well. RJ Umberger could get more shots now. Keep an eye on who's shooting the puck for the Jackets now as well.
