It is just about time to wrap up the fantasy football regular season. This is good news for some teams and better news for others. If your team has been taking a beating, you will probably be glad to get this over with. For the rest of you that are playoff bound, congratulations and don’t forget that there are still moves to be made in order to stay on top. Stockpiling running backs is always a good idea. Make sure that your team is not one injury away from elimination.
Week 12 Recap (Standard League Points)
• Thomas Rawls SEA - 14 pts
• Javorius Allen BAL - Game Tonight
• Tevin Coleman ATL - 9 pts
• Spencer Ware KC - 17 pts
Rawls continues to look like a high-end running back and the job is his for the time being. Allen has not yet played as of the time I wrote this. Tevin Coleman topped 100 yards but lost a fumble and could not haul in the passes directed at him. Spencer Ware played like a starter; apparently owning any back that starts for the Chiefs is a recipe for success.

Week 13 Picks
Shaun Draughn SF
While he has not been phenomenal, Shaun Draughn has done a solid job of toting the rock for San Francisco. He has had fantasy totals of 8, 7 and 8 over the last three weeks. These are not impressive, but if he reached the end zone in any of those games they would suddenly have been nice totals. This week brings a matchup with Chicago and I still do not expect Carlos Hyde to play again this season. If you want a low risk flex option, Draughn is a decent one.
David Johnson ARI
Chris Johnson and Andre Ellington both left in week 12 with injuries. While it is not certain what kind of time either of them may miss, this makes David Johnson an intriguing pickup. The matchup against the Rams is not the stuff of dreams, but Johnson has a solid skill set and a nose for the end zone. It also helps that he is on an offense capable of putting up big numbers. If Chris Johnson and Ellington cannot go, David Johnson will be a RB2 for week 13. I doubt that anyone hung on to Johnson all year, but if you did this is the payoff.
For The Desperate: Brandon Bolden NE
I don’t mean to make it sound like Bolden got lucky on Sunday, but most of his points came on a 63 yard touchdown. Bolden played about half as many snaps as LeGarrette Blount or James White and is unlikely to repeat his success in week 13. On the other hand, the Patriots are taking on the same Eagles team that allowed the Lions to score 45 points in week 12. The Lions running backs all looked like viable threats on Thanksgiving and I think we all know that they are not. I do not recommend picking up Bolden or starting him, but for the truly desperate, he could pay off in garbage time.
