Like last week, if you're reading this article, it means you are about to embark on either your first fantasy football title, or another to add to your collection. In my Week 16 Waiver Wire Quarterback Pickups article, there are still a couple guys worth grabbing to bolster your roster.
Kirk Cousins - Redskins
When the Redskins drafted Cousins in the same draft they traded up for RG3, the organization flat out said Cousins was drafted as possible future trade bait. So far, the Redskins look like they made a wise move. With RG3 on the bench, Cousins went off with 381 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in a close loss against the Falcons. Cousins faces the Cowboys in Week 16. A team who allowed Packers QB Matt Flynn to throw 4 touchdown passes in a come-from-behind victory.
Ryan Tannehill - Dolphins
Tannehill was on the wire last week, but it never hurts to remind owners that this kid is finding his groove. After tossing up 3 touchdowns in Week 14 against the Steelers, Tannehill added another 3 scores in the upset win over the Patriots Sunday. Tannehill has now thrown for multiple touchdowns in 3-straight games and could make it a 4th against the Bills in Week 16. Tannehill threw 3 touchdown passes (2 picks) against the Bills back in Week 7.
