Here we are at Week 5 and the fantasy regular season is now just about one-third of the way over. It's our first week dealing with teams on the bye and it's time to dig deep.
DJ Williams came back last week after missing the first three games of the season. He didn't miss a beat. He seems to already be in mid-season form. Feel free to start him as he is a top-10 LB in our week 5 IDP rankings.
I'd also keep a very close eye on Gary Guyton. He takes over for Jerod Mayo for the next few weeks or more and he is widely regarded as being the Pat's best LB in pass defense. Because of that, expect him to be a 3-down LB while Mayo is out. He starts off with a Jets team that is committed to running the ball more, yet is missing their starting C Nick Mangold and will have a hard time getting blockers on Guyton.
Lastly, I am benching Lawrence Timmons. With James Harrison expected out for a few weeks, the Steelers plan to move Timmons outside and will start Larry Foote in his place inside. This may result in more pass rush opportunities for him and more performance plays, but it should signifcantly reduce his chance for tackles. As such I am benching him.
