I don't care who he's facing, Peyton Manning is going to be my No. 1 in my rankings going forward until he has to sit with an injury. Something that is highly unlikely. After two game, Brian Hoyer is really starting to make his name for himself. It's hard to rank him as a QB1, but his numbers are really going to push him into the upper echelon of the QB2 set. If you're looking for someone during your bye week, Alex Smith really isn't a bad choice. I know he doesn't throw for a lot of yards like a Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers, but he's been close to turnover free. A couple of touchdowns would do nicely.
Aaron Rodgers is a close number two in my Week 5 fantasy Quarterback rankings. he and the Packers know they must win this game. I also like Sam Bradford this week versus a haphazard Jaguars defense. I have Cutler at 21, but if don't have to use him this week, don't. The Saints have proved just how scary they are on D this season.
The matchup between NFC East rivals will be interesting. And by interesting I mean that both QBs have an opportunity to generate a sizable number of fantasy points. The Giants have already surrendered 10 TD passes which is tied for the NFL's highest total. Yet, only one team is allowing more yardage through the air than Philly. I expect Michael Vick to capitalize, but don't know if Eli can trust any of his primary weapons other than Victor Cruz.
