Here comes Week 6 and we are in for some rough patches. This week marks another week with six bye weeks and many folks might be left scrambling and looking for some fill-ins. Rest assured there are some out there.
As for the Week 6 IDP Defensive Back Rankings, George Wilson tops them off for the first time. He has double digit tackles and an interception in three straight games now. Over the past three weeks Wilson has notched 34 tackles, three interceptions and five passes defensed. That earns you the top spot against Eli Manning and the G-Men this week.
Also, start Devin McCourty this week. The Pats secondary has been getting lit up and now Tony Romo and Company come to town rested and healthy. They should have all of their offensive weapons healthy and available and will need to fling the ball around to keep up with the Pats. McCourty should approach double digit tackles and maybe a pick or two if Romo self destructs (50:50 chance).
Lastly, keep your eye out for Bernard Pollard. Many (including myself) expected big things out of him this year. He has yet to crack the Ravens' starting line-up, but with Tom Zbikowski still not cleared from his concussion this could be the week Pollard steps in. If so, expect him to play in the box all day against his former team as he tries to slow down Arian Foster and make the Texans pay for letting him go.
