Here we are as we head into Week 7 and we are starting to separate the contenders from the pretenders in the NFL and in our fantasy leagues. As we do so, we have to deal with another big bye week as we try to truck on through.
This week I am starting Yeremiah Bell. He is currently ranked 4th in the Week 7 IDP DB Rankings. He will likely play in the box all day this week as the Dolphins play a Broncos team that is turning over to a running QB in Tim Tebow and has just traded their best WR in Brandon Lloyd. I expect Bell to hover around the line of scrimmage all day as he racks up tackles.
I am slo going to continue to start Jason McCourty. He has continued the trend of being an elite fantasy player as the #2 CB in Tennessee across from Cortland Finnegan. This week he draws a Houston team still without Andre Johnson. He should not have much of a problem locking down Jacoby Jones or Kevin Walter while racking up tackles on any completed ball his way.
Lastly, I am benching Glover Quin. He has frustrated me to no end this year. I expected him to be Bernard Pollard 2.0, yet he has done little to nothing. The CBs and Danieal Manning are all out-producing him so far. I still can't seem to stomach removing him from my rankings, but he has definitely moved to the bottom.
