As the back half of our fantasy schedule gets underway, George Wilson continues to top our Week 8 IDP DB Rankings. Hot on his heels this week is Troy Polamalu. Polamalu currently is ranked 2nd and he has a great matchup against the Patriots this week. Brady uses the middle of the field with Wes Welker, Aaron Hernandez, and Rob Gronkowski and will keep Troy busy. The Pats also let up the 3rd most points per game to Safeties. Expect a big game out of Polamalu.
I also would expect a nice game this week out of TJ Ward. Ward will need to play close to the line of scrimmage to help against the 49ers rushing attack. With Joe Haden and company locking down the outside guys, Ward will have his shot at Vernon Davis when he is not trying to stop the run. That should mean quite a few tackle opportunities.
Lastly, this week I am benching Michael Griffin. The Colts just do not complete enough passes and there just will not be enough tackles to go around in that back half of the defense. With how well Jordan Babineaux and Jason McCourty are playing, I just cannot see Griffin having a great game.
