Here comes Week 9 and the competition is getting hot and heavy for those precious playoff spots. The bye weeks are finally starting to wind down a little bit and this week we only have four teams on the bye instead of the typical six.
This week I am certainly starting Kam Chancellor. He is vastly underrated and currently ranks 4th in the Week 9 IDP DB Rankings. Chancellor is making plays near the line and back in the secondary and faces a Dallas team this week that loves to air it out and utilize Jason Witten over the middle. Expect a big game out of Chancellor.
I am also starting Patrick Chung. He faces a Giants team that has some banged up RBs and Eli Manning is throwing the ball well and quite often these days. Expect Chung to help bracket Hakeem Nicks and also to help coverage on slots receivers and TE Jake Ballard.
Lastly, I am starting Charles Woodson. He will likely cover Antonio Gates some and will also try to lock down Vincent Jackson. He will have his hands full but will put up great numbers as a result.
This week I am finally benching Glover Quin and officially removing him from my weekly rankings. What a big disappointment he has been in the IDP world.
