Here comes Week 9 and we are heading into the home stretch as teams jockey for position and try to fight to make the fantasy playoffs. Bye weeks are close to being over and we only have this week's bye and Week 11 left to deal with.
This week, I am certainly starting Justin Smith. He is currently ranked 3rd in our Week 9 IDP DL Rankings and he is facing a Washington OL that just got destroyed by a Buffalo front last week. I expect Justin Smith to have a great game this week.
I am also starting Trent Cole without question. He was supposed to be eased back in last week and instead he played a fairly full complement of snaps and looked great doing so. He should own the patchwork Chicago OL.
Lastly, I am also starting Chris Long. He was virtually unblockable last week against NO and he plays another subpar OL this week against AZ.
Sadly I am going to bench Elvis Dumervil. I had really high hopes for him, but injuries and a general lack of production have doomed him to mediocrity this year. He is on my bench until I see some kind of production out of him.
