Looks like the Bears will make a trip to Charlotte, NC to play the Panthers while the Seahawks come into Soldier Field in 2010.

The scheduling format in both Western Divisions was changed in 2010. For example, as far as the NFC West goes it used to be a team hosted Seattle / San Francisco and traveled to Arizona / St. Louis. Now, it is Seattle / St. Louis at home and Arizona / San Francisco away.

As far as the AFC West goes, it used to be a team hosted Denver / Kansas City and traveled to Oakland / San Diego. Now, it is Kansas City / San Diego at home and Denver / Oakland away.

The reason for the changes is because in 2008, the Jets made 4 separate trips to the West Coast that season, playing at OAK, SD, SF, and SEA. The NFC West plays the AFC East in 2012, which means the Jets fly to either San Francisco or Seattle, and whichever one they don't fly to, that team will visit East Rutherford.
