This is actually a pretty physical game. TJ Ward laying the wood on teammate Josh Gordon...lol.

 

No...I gave up years ago.....this "game" is irrelevant and a total joke.

 

Actually it was one of the best Pro Bowls I've ever watched. They were actually playing hard, hitting hard, hitting their NFL teammates hard...it was entertaining for once.

 

Damn, I missed it

 

Things I liked:

I thought it was competitive.

Nice to see some defense for once.

Things I didn't like:

Who designed the uniforms?

Didn't like members of the same NFL team playing against each other. I'm used to cheering for one team against the other.

On a side note, I heard this morning that Goodell almost cancelled the Pro Bowl, but the players told him not to. Me thinks the players like the free trip to Hawaii more than playing in the game itself.

 

just go to a skills competition and be done with it. the "game" aspect is ridiculous.

 

Agreed. I didn't sit there and watch the whole thing, but when I was watching I saw some tough hits on punt returns, JJ Watt crushing Alex Smith and really just about everyone else on the field, and some actual line play.

It isn't anything like a regular season game and some of the plays were hard to watch (first goalline run by Cam to get a TD), but it was tenfold better than any other Pro Bowl I had seen. Makes me think I'll watch it next year, especially if they keep the team-picking format.

 

i'm not a fan of any of the all-star games but football is probably the toughest to do considering the nature of the game. i get that and if this format helped it in any way i'm all for it. i'll still elect to not watch it but for those who want to it's good to hear this was a better product.

 

Imagine my surprise when I turned on the TV in the 3rd quarter and saw that the score was 14-14. Did they actually play defense this time? Maybe I should've watched...

 

I watched a grand total of about 5 minutes, but those jerseys made me want to throw up on myself.

 

i saw three plays and i have to admit i wanted to punch anyone named roger in the face.

 

TJ Ward put a nice hit on Josh Gordon...
