The fact that Peters made it is a joke...

not really in the begining he was battling injurys and struggled a little but is playing good football right now

He's not playing at a Pro-Bowl level and as recently as the Denver game his play was subpar...

O Lineman always get in on name rec. IMO Gurode shouldn't be in this year, but he is starting, pretty much because he is a 4 timer and a name

As far as the Eagles go, I think some players are the victim of deep positions. McNabb would have been in most years. Celek would have been in most years. I would be interested to see where Celek rated in fan voting (please post if someone has a link), It wouldn't shock me if he was behind K2, and possibly even Shockey and Boss in fan voting

Brown, I feel the same way about Jenkins, who alot of Cowboy fans feel was snubbed (between the two brown would have been more deserving), both are #2 CB's. I dont feel #2 CB's should be in the Pro Bowl, because they are not consistanly matched up with teams #1 WR's. IMO it would be unfair to put Brown....the Eagles #2 over DRC.......the Cardinals #1. There could be special case's where a team just had two purely dominant CB's, but no team in the NFL has that

peters getting in is a prime example of how pro-bowl/all-star games are a frigging joke anymore. i am embarrassed as an eagles fan to see him get picked.

also, not saying witten isn't a good player but celek is having a better year.

fans should not be allowed to vote, period.

    But hes not really..

Witten is a far better blocker and deserves to be there.

A glaring omission was Jason Avant. He's an All-Pro slot receiver.

Blocking has nothing to do with "Eligibles" getting named to the Pro-Bowl.

actually no he's not this year, not by much but celek has done a lot more blocking this year thanks to the revolving door he lines up next to most times known as peters.

and if blocking were truely that important vernon davis wouldn't even be in the conversation.

that said it's not really a big snub that witten went over celek.
