7 year old attacked by shark.

    a 7 year old boy was attacked by a bull shark in Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana. Freaked me out because I didn't think they was in the water there. Been there a few times and never thought once about a shark. Wonder if it was a coincidence it happened two days before Shark Week.

    very luck. in fact watching shark week right now and Bull sharks can live in fresh water or low salinity water. they are very aggressive.

    I wouldn't be surprised if I was reading about someone catching one in the Mississippi River around Memphis one of these days. One hell of a hardy fish that's already been found in many fresh water tributaries.

    Bull Sharks are pretty adaptable,so they are actually common in fresh water rivers worldwide.
