ESPN's Adam Schefter reported via his Twitter page that the Houston Texans and head coach Gary Kubiak are sticking with their current group of running backs. This means a Larry Johnson signing is not in their plans. Schefter wrote, "And now we start eliminating LJ landing spots: No more Houston - Gary Kubiak's team sticking with its backs."

Another NFL reporter showdown. Schefter says Texans don't want LJ, LaCanfora says Texans are where he'll end up. We should open a vBookie bet on this one. I'm going with Schefter until he blows one.

Multiple reports now confirming the Texans are not pursuing LJ. Schefter is the first one on it again. LaConfora blows this one.

More teams saying "no" according to Schefter. "More no's for and to Larry Johnson: SF, Atlanta, Washington, Houston, Chicago."
