The Seahawks will re-sign veteran linebacker David Vobora, his agent, Marc Lillibridge, indicated via Twitter on Monday. Vobora spent a portion of training camp with the Seahawks this season, playing in two preseason games before being waived prior to the regular season. He was a part of the team’s initial 53-man roster, but was cut as a part of subsequent changes to acquire other players shortly after. His signing makes sense given the knee injury suffered by linebacker Matt McCoy on Sunday. McCoy has a significant knee sprain and will miss “a while,†Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said.
