Bears defensive end Julius Peppers was one of two players held out of practice Wednesday as the team continued preparation for the St. Louis Rams. Peppers showed up on the injury report with a foot injury. Coach Lovie Smith said Peppers' foot is sore. Peppers entered the season battling plantar fasciitis -- an inflammation of the thick band of tissue at the bottom of the foot. Peppers did not reveal which foot contains the problem, but it hasn't affected his play. He has two sacks through the first two games. Source: Chicago Tribune
