Cincinnati Bengals defensive end DeQuin Evans has been suspended eight games for a violation of the league’s policy against performance-enhancing drugs, the NFL announced Friday.

Evans has played three seasons with the Bengals, but has yet to appear in a regular season game. However, he did play in all four preseason games.

He has severely hurt his chances of making a hit this season, though. It’s the second time he has been suspended, the first coming in 2011 when he served a four-game suspension.

Dude came from one of the worst neighborhoods in America and worked his butt off. Loved him from Hard Knocks. I'd say I feel bad for him but if you're dumb enough to cheat you deserve it.
