Kawika Mitchell saved the game by picking off a potential go-ahead touchdown pass with 3:17 remaining and stripping the ball from Rivers on the Chargers' next possession. The game-changing plays were reminiscent of the ones he made down the stretch last season during the New York Giants improbable run to the Super Bowl victory. And they're the reason the Bills were on the horn to him exactly one minute after he became eligible for free agency last March. "I saw the potential to go to a young team with a lot of upside to it a place that finally wanted me," he said. "I felt like they wanted me, and that we'd do some special things. I'd be able to get more recognition and be on a winning team. I respect the fact they like doing different things with me because they believe in my ability."
