By the end of mandatory offseason sessions in June, Bills wide receiver James Hardy -- who missed the end of the 2008 season and most of 2009 due to ACL surgery -- was running crisp, precise routes, and used his tremendous size to his advantage, winning the battle for jump balls more often than not in the defensive secondary, BuffaloBills.com reports. Hardy appears to be the leading candidate for the No. 2 receiving job opposite Lee Evans, but he'll face pretty stiff competition in training camp from Steve Johnson and a host of others. Lee Evans is the No. 1, and Roscoe Parrish appears to be the No. 3 slot receiver, but it looks like coach Chan Gailey is going to let the No. 2 job be an open competition.
