Add one more record to the constantly growing list of Brett Favre's career achievements: He's now the most prolific passer in NFL playoff history. During Sunday's NFC Championship Game, Favre broke Joe Montana's NFL record for the most passing yards in the playoffs. It would be tough to argue that Favre is the best playoff passer in NFL history -- he's thrown a lot more playoff interceptions than Montana, and Montana has three more Super Bowl rings than Favre has -- but he has now thrown for more playoff yards than anyone who ever played the game.

Wasn't there another Montana record he broke? I think there were two.

  3. Favre is second all time with 44 career playoff touchdown passes, one shy of Joe Montana's record of 45.

Is there a stat for "playoff ending INTs"?

I'm pretty sure It was Montana's playoffs completions record.
