Broncos safety Brian Dawkins had surgery to repair a broken right hand he suffered during practice Tuesday, according to several team sources. He is expected to return in two weeks. Dawkins became a free agent this offseason after 13 seasons in Philadelphia and signed a five-year, $17 million deal with a $7.2 million guarantee with the Broncos. Source: Denver Post
