Buccaneers QB Josh Johnson Not Interested In Wildcat Offense

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans have been wondering for a while if backup quarterback Josh Johnson would be a perfect Wildcat offense option. After Johnson ran 43-yards for a touchdown against Tennessee, it was an obvious question. “No,â€￾ Johnson said. “That’s a whole different thing. You got to go in there and bang with the defense and between the tackles.â€￾ He is more interested in dropping back and making reads than running up the middle and waiting for a linebacker to take off his head.

    He needs to show other teams that he can play QB. He does not have a good chance to make this team so he does not need to get hurt.
