The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not consider moving LeGarrette Blount to fullback according to Ira Kaufman of the Tampa Bay Tribune.

The reluctance is not because Blount is such a valuable offensive asset to the team, although head coach Greg Schiano is on record as saying Blount's strength is as a runner. What Schiano does not mention is that the Bucs expect their fullbacks to both block and catch passes out of the backfield and Blount is deficient in both areas. It is unlikely that Blount has any role on this team in the 2014 season. The Bucs would like to get some kind of draft pick for him but if they are unsuccessful in trading him the smart money is on LeGarrette Blount being released before the draft in April.
