As a player for the Washington Redskins for fewer than two full seasons, Albert Haynesworth was an expensive bust. The 10-year veteran defensive tackle might be even more costly to the Redskins, however, as a former player. Officials from several teams with some basic understanding of the sanctions imposed by the NFL against Washington and Dallas last week - the league penalized the Cowboys $10 million in salary cap space and the Redskins $36 million - suggested that at least a portion of the sanctions levied against the Redskins were in part due to some issues with a seven-year, $100 million contract Haynesworth signed with the club in 2009. The officials declined to further elaborate and Redskins officials would not discuss the matter, citing the franchise's grievance on the cap penalties. Both the Redskins and Cowboys officially filed grievances on Sunday.
