According to a report from Fox Sports Arizona, both Anthony Sherman and Reggie Walker, two of the team's better special teams players, are expected to play against the San Francisco 49ers. Both had been absent for the past two games with injuries.

Sherman is dealing with a knee problem, but he had this to say to reporters:

"We progressed well enough at practice today and hopefully the rest of the week will go well," Sherman said. "We'll see how the swelling looks (Thursday)."

As for Walker, the effects of his prior concussion must be wearing off by now, as he should play too, according to coach Ken Whisenhunt.

Whisenhunt noted the impact of their absence, stating that not only does he have to take players from other areas to fill their roles, but the talent level on special teams diminishes. That is especially the case given that both of them are captains.
