The Kansas City Chiefs are cutting linebacker Cameron Sheffield to create a roster spot for linebacker Tamba Hali as he comes off a one-game suspension for violating the NFL drug policy, according to a league source. Sheffield is a former fifth-round draft pick from Troy. Sheffield, a 6-foot-2, 257-pounder, played in every game last season and recorded nine tackles. He started once.
