Colin Kaepernick reached an historic season milestone, while Anquan Boldin each reached a personal milestone in the first quarter. Kap finished the first half with 171 yards, which moved him over 3,000 yards passing. With that performance, Kap became the 12th quarterback in NFL history to reach 3,000+ yards passing and 500+ receiving. Two seasons ago, Alex Smith surpassed 3,000 yards, and he was the first 49ers QB to do so since Jeff Garcia did it in 2002. This is Kap's first full season as a starter, and given his early struggles, it's an impressive to surpass, even in this pass-heavy league. Anquan Boldin reached a personal best of his own.
