Colin Kaepernick and Anquan Boldin had personal highlights in the first half of the 49ers Week 17 contest with the Arizona Cardinals. We break down the notable moments.

The San Francisco 49ers took a 17-7 lead into the half against the Arizona Cardinals, and they have done it thanks to some big offensive performances. Colin Kaepernick reached an historic season milestone, while Anquan Boldin each reached a personal milestone in the first quarter.

Kap finished the first half with 171 yards, which moved him over 3,000 yards passing. With that performance, Kap became the 12th quarterback in NFL history to reach 3,000+ yards passing and 500+ receiving. Two seasons ago, Alex Smith surpassed 3,000 yards, and he was the first 49ers QB to do so since Jeff Garcia did it in 2002. This is Kap's first full season as a starter, and given his early struggles, it's an impressive to surpass, even in this pass-heavy league.

Anquan Boldin reached a personal best of his own. He had 106 yards receiving in the first quarter, which marked the first time in his career that he has had 100+ receiving yards in a single quarter. He added a touchdown and an 11-yard run on a reverse to cap a strong quarter against his former team.
