Free agent running back Brandon Minor has signed a practice squad contract with the Indianapolis Colts. An oft-injured running back from Michigan, Minor went to training camp with the Chicago Bears, but did not receive a carry during the pre-season, Minor spent three weeks on the Bears' practice squad before being released last week. Second-year running back Donald Brown missed last week's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with a hamstring injury that kept him from practicing on Wednesday. Signing Minor, who was teammates with Colts running back Mike Hart at Michigan, to the practice squad gives the team an additional body at position where they're currently thin.
