Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett says that RB DeMarco Murray is a “a mature player from a technical standpoint,†but also adds that “he has kind of an instinct, an intuition, that the really good players have,†per Carlos Mendez of Star-Telegram.com Garrett praises Murray for being a “good runner†with “good vision,†but what Garrett is impressed with is that “you ask him to run a route out of the backfield maybe that he hasn’t run before, and he understands what you’re asking him to do as a coach very quickly.†Murray was a rookie sensation for the Cowboys after RB Felix Jones went down due to injury. Now that Murray is getting an entire offseason to learn more about his craft he could become even more of a threat to opposing defenses.
