The Cowboys receivers tapped the brakes on the praise they received after the Tampa Bay win, pointing out it would take more than one good game to quiet critics. They were right. "That's fine,'' receiver Roy Williams said. "You can bring up any questions. We're good. We're fine. We're still terrible, but we're good.'' Source: Dallas Morning News
I think it's kind of a "I am whatever you say I am" type of theme he was going for in that interview.
who cares who says what, inclulbus says i got to crap, make a headline out of it. ill post a picture of it up when i'm done.
i agree ithnk it was more a sarcastic comment aomes at the media saying iam/we are what you say we are one day they say the WR are good (game with TB) and then next they stink(with gmen0
yeah but remember, it was Romo's fault. he must be the worse receiver we got, if they're now blaming it on our WR's [which it wasn't neither's fault]. It was a team effort, roy's being sarcastic, not even worthy of a headline. It's a thread that we look at and get to see how many ppl thinks he is 'over-rated' cuz they don't like what he said [even though they don't understand it]. It's just like the Martellus thread last night.
In williams defense...he hasnt ever had an "elite" qb throwing him the ball...he was in detroit for how long, and im still not sold on Romo. Romos done nothing to deserve all the praise hes gotten...except for freaking up the snap on a sure fire win...and then crying about it.
Williams had his best year with Kitna as his QB, maybe they should give him a shot to take Romo's job, lol
It just hit me, after almost a year... Jerry Jones gave away the farm for a WR drafted by Matt Millen. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go throw boiling water at my face.
