That certainly seems to be the case.

I don't see anyone challenging them in the East.

The Bulls had the best shot but that team will probably make some changes as well.

I think he has options, yes, but I don't think he'll be going anywhere. It's Love they need to worry about.

Yes, I understand it's a year-by-year basis. I wouldn't worry about him leaving again, but they must get him help.

i know it's a pipe dream, but if im the sixers i offer him a max deal. they will have the cap space.

What's the worst that happens? He accepts the deal? They should throw that deal out there. If he accepted it, it would instantly reboot the Sixers in the city of Philadlephia. If he rejects it, at least they put forth the effort and people will see that.

agreed. james would be coming to a team with a ton of young talent in noel, saric, who knows with embiid, plus maybe deangelo russell - oakafor - porzingis or mudiay. and they'd have mony to get another FA.

again i know it's a pipedream but he would instantly re-ignite the city's basketball faithful and this area is huge on hoops.

Did I just walk into a conversation involving LeBron James going to Philadelphia?

I just want to be sure.

a conversation of something that could happen in theory ? or dilusional hope from two sixers fans ?

    most likely the latter.

I wouldn't call myself an NBA fan...but I'll hop on the Sixers bandwagon...and I check up on them every once in a blue moon.

i'm not a big nba fan either, def a sixers fanatic though. much like with the flyers and hockey.

also, it's the off season for the nfl and the phillies suck something fierce so there's not much to chatter about.

I Am no big fan of the NBA,but if lebron would have had love and the kid that got injured in game 1,cavs would have won the series.he basically carried the team in the finals,so ya can't say it was his fault they lost.

If they get Love to come back next season. I think LeBron will give it another go. If they don't get some Love next season, he is gone. I don't think just he and Irving can do it. They need Love. que the creepy 70's porn music.

Who knows what to believe coming out of the media, but if Marc Stein is writing that there's a riff between Blatt and James and the GM is behind Blatt 100%, James could walk. If it comes down to James saying or even intimating "Me or Blatt. You choose", Cleveland would make sure that GM's body is never found.
